What personal information we collect when you use our services

This applies to visitors to our website. We collect information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes personal data provided at the time of registering to use our site or subscribing to our service(s).

We may contact you for further information if you report a problem with our site, in order to try and solve the problem you have raised.

Job applicants and our current and former employees

All of the information you provide during the recruitment process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your application or to fulfill legal or regulatory requirements if necessary.

We will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with any third-parties for marketing purposes.

We use our in-house computer system and GDPR compliant cloud-based storage system to process your personal data only for the purpose of progressing your application. The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors, whether the information is in electronic or physical format.

We will use the contact details you provide to us to contact you to progress your application. We will use the other information you provide to assess your suitability for the role you have applied for.

We do not collect more information than we need to fulfill our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary.

For current employees, we will process personal data to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations as an employer. Details of the personal data we collect, process, store, and delete will be included in your employment contract.

In terms of former employees, we are legally obliged to store personal data for tax obligations and will store the minimum required to meet this obligation.

Why does Mushroom World need to collect and store personal data?

To provide our services to you, and primarily for billing and administrative purposes.  As part of the normal course of business, we need to collect personal data for correspondence and contractual purposes.

We are committed to ensuring that the information we collect, and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

 

Will Mushroom World share my personal data with anyone else?

We do not share data with third party marketers. We may be required to share data with other third-party providers who we engage with to fulfill contractual obligations you have agreed to.

Any third parties that we may share your data with are obliged to keep your details securely, and to use them only to fulfill the service they provide. When they no longer need your data to fulfill this service, they are obliged to dispose of the details in line with Mushroom World procedures. If we wish to pass any sensitive personal data onto a third party, we will only do so once we have obtained your explicit consent, unless we are legally required to do so otherwise.

 

How will Mushroom World use the personal data it collects about me?
