How do I store my Lingzhi?
Store the unopened Lingzhi in a cool, dry place. Only open the Lingzhi when you are ready to prepare it for consumption.
After preparing the Lingzhi for the first time, you can reboil it until the taste of the tea is absent (read: 'How to prepare Lingzhi'). In between preparations, you can store it in an airtight bag or container, in a refrigerator. The open Lingzhi can store in this condition for up to a week from when it is first opened.
How do I prepare my Lingzhi?
Lingzhi can be used in several ways. One of the simplest ways is to make a Lingzhi tea.
How to prepare Lingzhi tea:
Boil 500ml of water.
Remove the Lingzhi from its packaging and put directly into 500ml of water.
Bring water to boil for 10-15 minutes. Lower to a simmer for another 30 minutes.
Turn off heat and add honey or sugar to taste (optional) let it cool slightly before serving.
Store the boiled Lingzhi in airtight container or bag in a refrigerator for up to a week.
Subsquent preparations of the Lingzhi tea:
Add Lingzhi to 500ml of water and boil for 10-15 minutes.
Turn heat down and simmer for 10 minutes.
Let cool and add honey or sugar to taste (optional).
The Lingzhi can be boiled for 5 times, or until there is no more Lingzhi taste from the tea, before replacing with a fresh Lingzhi.
How to take care of mushroom bag?
Ideal conditions are required and so, make sure you keep the kit away from direct sunlight and keep it in an area with low light, moist conditions and with good airflow.
Can I stay in the farm without attending the tour or trainings?
Yes! You are welcome! Please book your stay on our Booking Page.
Is airport transfer provided with my stay?
Airport transfer is available at an additional fee. Please contact us at [email protected]with your booking details to make arrangements.
What does my sponsorship go towards?
All your sponsorship funds go towards the cost of equipment, tools, logistics, and training involved in creating 400 mushroom bags and teaching the sponsored family/organization/individual how to grow, care for and harvest their own mushrooms.
How do you decide which families need the most help?
We work together with local outreach organizations to identify families for sponsorship; families must live under the poverty line in order to meet the poverty criteria established by local outreach organizations.
We advise our customers to check the items upon receiving it.
Mushroom World has a return/exchange policy whereby you can request for a return/exchange within 24hrs of receiving the items.
To qualify for a return/exchange, the items in the package must be unused and in its original packaging (plastic and box).
To qualify for a return/exchange, the following condition(s) must be met:
– Damaged items – Defective Goods
– Wrong item(s) delivered
– Missing partsMushroom World will bear the cost of collection and re-delivery as a result of a return/exchange.
Steps to take in an event of a Return/Exchange:
1) Contact us at [email protected] and leave your name and contact details with us
2) A pick-up or drop-off service will be arranged
3) Kindly ensure that the item to be returned/exchanged is in its original packaging
4) In the event of an exchange, we will deliver the product to you within 3 working days.
Note: Any item that you have accepted from the courier and/or is due for return/exchange is your responsibility.
Mushroom World is not liable for any damage to the goods that are under your care.
How do I track my delivery?
A delivery email will be sent to your email address to confirm that the parcel is on its way. Unfortunately due to the constraints of the courier service, we are unable to give you an exact date and time of delivery, however some couriers might call you before attempting the delivery. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery, the item will be delivered to a designated post office or POPStation for self-collection within a stipulated period stated on your Delivery Advice. International Shipping is NOT available at Mushroom World at the moment. However, bulk purchases could be arranged under certain conditions, please contact [email protected]
Delivery Fee ranges from S$6 to S$25 depending on size and weight of package.

A Self-Collection option is also available when you check out. Self collection is available for collection within 1 to 2 weeks after confirmation of order at YISHUN MRT. Collection time is Mondays to Fridays between 10am - 6pm. Please email [email protected] to confirm date and time before collection.
Shipping & Delivery
Mushroom World engages an external courier for the delivery of all our products with the exception of Live "Mushroom Bags House" set up. Delivery shall be within Singapore only. For places where a delivery permit is needed, please contact [email protected]com.sg Standard delivery lead time for courier delivery is between 1 to 2 weeks from the confirmation of order. Live "Mushroom Bags House" set up delivery (and/or assembly) is handled by Mushroom World and will be delivered within 2 weeks from the confirmation of order.
Do note that Cash-on-Delivery is NOT accepted as Mushroom World engages external courier services for the delivery of all our products with the exception of LIVE “Mushroom Bags House” set up. Mushroom World online shop only accepts Credit/Debit cards and PayPal payments. We accept most major cards supported by VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX. Your card details will be protected by industry-leading encryption standards so you can shop with peace of mind. We do not keep your credit card information in any database as we treat your security very seriously. Each credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment and is submitted directly to the respective banks. Any order confirmation and summary will be sent to your email once you have placed (and paid for) your order.
